Friends,

As we work to keep our communities healthy and safe, it's never been a more appropriate time to acknowledge the work that public health workers play in identifying and confronting threats to our health and well-being. So, I have a special request for you: join me in standing with our nation's public health professionals today.

These brave men and women all across the country are the servant leaders of our time. As our nation's frontline against the coronavirus pandemic, they're risking their own health to put their patients' lives first. Their work is paramount to protecting our health and safety, but they are in urgent need of additional resources -- and it's incumbent to act now.

If we are going to keep our frontline medical workers healthy and able to treat every patient in need in the midst of a shortage of life-saving protective equipment and medical supplies, then Trump must actually use the powers of the Defense Production Act before it's too late. That's why I helped introduce the Frontline Health Care Workers Assistance Act to direct the immediate procurement of these urgently needed supplies, like masks, gloves, ventilators, and more.

With a fourth piece of COVID-19 legislation on the horizon, I need you to help me show that the needs of our frontline medical professionals must be prioritized. So, join me in standing with our nation's public health workers today.

We also need to direct even more federal funding into our community and private health systems to ensure they can treat this unprecedented influx of new patients. It's critical we expand hospital capacity, implement telehealth options, and guarantee that health care workers have what they need to deliver the comprehensive, quality care Americans deserve -- and keep themselves safe while doing it.

I am incredibly grateful for every Coloradan working tirelessly to keep the communities we love safe at this scary and unpredictable time. I promise to continue advocating for you and your families in Congress as we work together to end this pandemic.

In solidarity,

Jason
