Note From the Chair
Friend,
The June primary elections are happening on Tuesday! There have been some changes made to our state elections this year, so I wanted to give you a quick update on what you need to know to vote in this year’s primaries. If you have any last-minute questions on how and where to vote, you can always visit iwillvote.com [[link removed]] to learn more. Thank you for being a voter!
On Election Day
Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m on Election Day – June 4.
Early Voting In-Person
In-person Absentee Voting has already begun, and is available from May 15th through June 3rd during business hours at your county auditor’s office or at a satellite polling location.
Early Voting by Mail
Absentee Ballots must be returned to your county auditor’s office by the time polls close at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. If you have not returned your absentee ballot yet, do not put it in the mail! Instead, deliver to the County Auditor’s office or vote on Election Day at your regular polling place and surrender your unreturned ballot.

Remember, your vote on June 4 can send another signal that it’s time for change in Iowa. You can show candidates that their hard work and commitment to making your community a better place is paying off, and that folks are paying attention to what they’re saying. They will carry that momentum with them all the way to November.
Thank you,
Rita Hart
