The North Carolina race for governor has just shifted from "lean Democrat" to "toss up" according to the Cook Political Report.
Democrat Josh Stein, the current Attorney General of North Carolina, is running to protect voting rights in this key swing state – one that’s seen 45 election directors quit due to the threats stemming from MAGA conspiracies.
His opponent is far-right Republican Mark Robinson who endorsed Donald Trump and spread lies about the 2020 presidential election.
