Greetings Friend, Today, I launched my campaign for re-election to represent the people of Fairbanks in the Alaska Senate. With your help, I hope to return to Juneau to continue working on legislation for the benefit of all Alaskans. As a result of redistricting, I served a two-year term in the State Senate and have been placed in to a challenging seat on a 'Presidential Election Cycle' which will make it an even tougher seat to maintain. The Senate Bipartisan Majority has been able to secure more education funds from Pre-K to UAF, pass a balanced budget with a sizeable PFD and passed signature energy legislation to lower the cost of living in Alaska. Most of all, as solid member of the Bipartisan Senate Majority, I ensured that the Senate be an appropriate check and balance to Governor Dunleavy. There is much work yet to be done and I will continue to put Alaska first by working across party lines. But I cannot do it alone and I need your support! To be direct, my campaign for re-election to the Senate will be the top race to watch, with the most participation and the most money! Personal contributions are now unlimited and legislators were unable to ask for donations until after the session ended only two weeks ago.
