New York Times recently reported that conservative Supreme Court Justice
Samuel Alito (or, in his telling, his wife) flew insurrectionist flags at
their homes in Virginia and New Jersey following the January 6th attack on
the Capitol.

Conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife attended Trump’s
Stop the Steal rally on January 6th and coordinated with Trump Chief of
Staff Mark Meadows about how to steal the election.

Following Trump’s appointments of Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy
Coney Barrett, for the first time in American history, a majority of
current Supreme Court justices have been appointed by presidents who lost
the popular vote.

And in a shocking political gift to Donald Trump, they have delayed
hearing the Justice Department’s January 6th case. And as we all know,
justice delayed is justice denied.

Ever since the 2020 election, Democrats have steadily been fighting back
to restore balance to the Supreme Court. The Biden Administration recently
surpassed the Trump Administration’s pace of judicial confirmations with
their 200th federal judicial appointment last week, including 127 women,
and unprecedented diversity among Black, Hispanic, Asian, Native Hawaiian,
and Pacific Islander jurists confirmed to the bench.

As a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, I never could have imagined the
current politicization of the Supreme Court under Donald Trump and Mitch
McConnell. And I cannot emphasize enough the importance of not only this
presidential election, but winning our race in California and defending
the Senate majority as well.

John, with so
many court proceedings and competing narratives, I’ll make this as clear
