We are on the ballot in 3 more
states as of the end of May, bringing our total to 23 states where voters will have an
alternative to the parties of war and Wall Street.
Our people, peace, planet campaign is on the
move!
In Georgia, a new law was put in
place that will allow Jill to be on the ballot by virtue of her
becoming the Green Party nominee in August.
In Washington state, volunteers
have gathered over 1,200 signatures in just a few weeks and are adding
to that number daily.
In Delaware, we are nearing the
threshold of 770 registered Greens to get us on the ballot.
In Ohio, we have close to 8,000
signatures and should be turning in even more than that by the end of
June.
In Nevada, we have turned in 27,000
signatures, more than twice the required number.
In Alaska, we will be submitting
6,000 signatures this week.
In Idaho, the Secretary of State
has approved our petition, confirming that Jill will be on the ballot
there.
Illinois and Indiana are our next
two deadlines and we are pulling out all the stops to make sure we
succeed.
Ballot access has been the biggest
expense of our campaign but these costs are necessary if we want to
give voters a pro-worker, anti-genocide, climate action candidate in
November. Our fundraising goal to cover these costs
is $500,000 in June for Illinois and Indiana.
Can you give Jill a boost today with a
$23 dollar donation in
honor of the 23 states
where we currently have ballot access and help us hit our critical
fundraising goal for June?
