Dear John,

Despite radiofrequency (RF) radiation used by Wi-Fi networks posing
serious health risks - including neurological diseases,
reproductive issues and DNA damage - the Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) has announced it will start funding the installation
of Wi-Fi on school buses this year.

Due to children's smaller heads, thinner skulls and developing
nervous systems, children absorb more RF radiation than adults,
making them especially vulnerable to the effects of RF radiation
exposure. Introducing Wi-Fi into our children's daily commutes
- especially in the confined space of a school bus
-  could expose them to unsafe levels of radiation and
lead to devastating and irreversible consequences for our children
and future generations.

The FCC is well aware of these risks. In 2021, Children's
Health Defense (CHD) successfully challenged the Commission's
flawed and outdated 1996 RF exposure guidelines in a landmark case
- citing 11,000 pages of evidence of harm caused by RF
radiation.

Amongst other things, the court ruled that the FCC has failed to
consider:

* The impact of RF radiation on children;
* The health implications of long-term exposure to RF radiation;
* And the ubiquity of wireless devices and other technological
developments that have occurred since the Commission last
updated its guidelines.

Protect our children from unnecessary and harmful Wi-Fi exposure by
telling the FCC to stop funding the installation of Wi-Fi on school
buses.
