John, what do you love about the natural world around you? 

At EDF, our team is motivated to protect wildlife and valuable ecosystems by even the smallest moments in nature — from backyard gardens to dog walks. These daily moments buoy our spirits when tackling climate change feels insurmountable.

To celebrate spring and the summer ahead, we’re collecting nature photos to see what inspires our EDF community. 

Submit your best nature photo by World Environment Day on June 5 and your photo could be featured in our online magazine, Vital Signs.

You can draw inspiration from these categories:
  1. Show us a landscape you love (including at sunrise/sunset!).
  2. Submit a photo of your favorite outdoor activity.
  3. Photograph a furry, feathered or scaly friend out in nature (including pets!).
  4. Send us a photo of a beautiful flower, tree or other plant.
  5. And anything else in nature that speaks to you!
