Mike Johnson’s record is rife with some truly extreme positions.
For much of the 118th Congress, attention has been focused on the Speaker of the House.
Despite a razor-thin majority, current House Speaker Mike Johnson has little in the way of accomplishments to show.
Instead, under his watch, Republicans have spent their time passing hyper-partisan bills that have no chance in the Democratic-controlled Senate, fighting each other, and otherwise not working for the communities that sent them to Washington.
This isn't surprising, John. Time and time again, Republicans have shown us that they are unable to govern — even when given a majority.
But Mike Johnson is unlike any other House Speaker we've ever had. Johnson was not only a casual election denier, but the congressional architect of the effort to overturn the 2020 election.1
If we’re going to fire Mike Johnson once we retake the House in November, we must do everything in our power now to elect a Democratic majority. If you agree, contribute $5 to be split among these vulnerable House incumbents to get us there.
Your contribution will be split between the following candidates: Jamaal Bowman, Cori Bush, Marie Glusenkamp Perez, Jared Golden, Matt Cartwright, and Yadira Caraveo.

Take a look at his voting record, and you'll find a lengthy list of some truly extreme positions that include:
- During Trump's presidency, Johnson remained one of his biggest enablers, voting in line with Trump's position 100% of the time in the 117th Congress.2
- Johnson has voted against a bevy of bipartisan legislation on infrastructure and the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act.3
- Johnson has a long history of anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-choice positions, including voting against the bipartisan Respect for Marriage Act that codified same-sex marriage.
John, we can't think of any reason to like Mike Johnson. But we can think of an unlimited number of reasons to depose him as House Speaker once we retake the House majority in November.
Please pitch in anything you can to support these House Democratic incumbents so we can retake our House majority and fire Mike Johnson this fall.
