It is a well-known fact that Republicans actively work to make it harder for Americans to vote through strenuous voter–id laws, unnecessarily purging voter rolls and placing restrictions on who can vote–by–mail. Every obstacle takes away minority and vulnerable communities' right to vote — and it’s no accident.

No matter your circumstances nothing should infringe with your constitutional right to be heard.

What happened last week in Wisconsin is a disgrace, and we need to act now to prevent further tragedy in November.

Thousands of Wisconsinites jeopardized their health to vote in their primary. Wisconsin’s Republican state legislature defied the CDC and overturned their Democratic governor’s efforts to protect his citizens.

Since the Wisconsin primary, Trump implied that voting–by–mail is fraud — unless he does it because he’s allowed too. Trump and the national GOP are using this crisis to grab power and we need to stop them before it’s too late for our democracy.

Trump isn’t even trying to hide his intentions, and admitted saying: “if [we] ever agreed to [voting–by–mail] you'd never have a Republican elected in this country again.”

The fear Trump has of losing his reelection and Republicans’ grip on power in 2020 will put American lives at risk throughout the rest of this year.
