John, happy first day of Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

June is a time of celebration and honoring those who fought for the advancement of LGBTQ+ rights here in South Carolina and beyond. It is a time to celebrate love of all forms and to encourage individuals to be their authentic selves.

Although progress has been made over the decade, the fight is not over.

Time and time again, we have seen MAGA Republicans target and attack the LGBTQ+ community through draconian legislation and hateful rhetoric across the country, even here in South Carolina. It is unacceptable.

If elected as your next representative, you can count on me to fight for LGBTQ+ protections, including codifying Obergefell v. Hodges into federal law. We can't wait for the conservative justices on the Supreme Court to strike it down like they did Roe.

We must recommit to our fight against hate and for equality.
