John —
Pride began as a riot in the early hours of June 28, 1969, when brave individuals at the Stonewall Inn in New York City stood up against oppression, igniting the spark of the modern LGBTQIA+ rights movement.
That’s why this month is not only about celebrating the progress we’ve made and the courageous people who fought to make it happen, it’s about committing to the work we’ve left to do.
In honor of Pride Month, we’re calling on Congress to pass the Equality Act. Will you add your name and join us?
Andrei’s extremist opponent David Schweikert has one of the worst records in the country fighting against equality.
He has sponsored an amendment to the Constitution to make same-sex marriage illegal. Just days after the Pulse Nightclub shooting, he posted a photo mocking transgender people. And he has repeatedly used homophobic campaign tactics to scare voters and scar our community.
Andrei believes hate has no place in Arizona, or America for that matter — and as AZ-01’s next Congressman, he’ll fight to end the discrimination and attacks that LGBTQIA+ Arizonans face.
But Andrei needs your help to defeat an extremist who promotes hatred and division, so if you’re able, we hope you’ll consider pitching in to this grassroots campaign today.
Thank you for supporting our work to make equality a reality for all.
