[1]Demand more funding for election protections! Call or text your senators now!

PFAW Member,

Your fundamental right to vote does not change because we’re in the middle
of a pandemic.

Last week, Wisconsin voters had to struggle through chaotic breaking news
and a lack of preparation in order to vote during a public health crisis.
Despite efforts by Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers to delay the state’s
primaries, and because of conservative majorities in the Wisconsin
legislature and on the Wisconsin Supreme Court and U.S. Supreme Court,
many people were forced to choose between exercising their right to
participate in their democracy and their own safety.

This is unacceptable.

We need you to act TODAY to demand that the Senate fully fund voting
protections during the coronavirus crisis and beyond. Dial 1-844-248-4061
OR text "CORONAVIRUS" to 21333 to get connected now!

The amount of funding for protecting our elections included in the earlier
coronavirus stimulus packages is still not enough. In order to make sure
that all Americans can have access to safe and secure voting – be it
through vote-by-mail, early voting, or in-person voting with vastly
improved polling station sanitation and security – we need the Senate to
allocate at least $4 billion in the next COVID-19 relief legislation to
make this possible. In addition to the above-mentioned protections, this
amount of funding needs to support expanding early, online, and same-day
registration, all of which is critical for ensuring that everyone has the
means to vote this November.

TODAY is a National Call-In Day to urge Congress to immediately pass
legislation that provides funding for these and other necessary reforms.
Our states need enough time and resources to implement these changes
before the November general election, and we need your help to make that
happen!

Call your senators today at:

1-844-248-4061

Or text "CORONAVIRUS" to 21333

Demand that Congress dedicate $4 billion in funding to secure our
elections in the next coronavirus stimulus package. If we act together, we
can secure our democracy.

We’re going to say it again: Your fundamental right to vote does not
change because we’re in the middle of a pandemic.

Call or text your senators now.

In solidarity,

- Sarah, Digital Campaigns Associate
