Samuel, I want to take a moment to send you my personal gratitude for
the hard work our grassroots supporters put in to helping Governor-elect
Ralph Northam, Lt. Governor-elect Justin Fairfax, and Attorney General
Mark Herring win Tuesday's elections here in Virginia.

These victories, along with the 15 Virginia House of Delegates seats
we flipped and major wins across the country, are the direct result of
what happens when Democrats work together to win.

I can't overstate how thrilled my wife, Dorothy, and I are knowing we
get to pass the baton to a family that will fight to protect our progress
and work tirelessly for even more.

I know that Ralph and Justin will continue our hard work -- keeping
our unemployment rate low while creating more jobs, further expanding
access to affordable health care and the ballot box, and continuing to give
our teachers everything they'll need to prepare our children for the future.

That's what happens when more Democrats win.
