John, we have a plan for how to defend the Senate and defeat Trump in November. Our plan works — it did in 2020, and again in 2022.

Here’s how we did it:

Tens of thousands of people pooled small contributions of $3, $10, and $25 apiece and gave us the funds to hit the road in battleground states during the summer and fall period that is about to begin.

In 2022, that support helped me rally voters and volunteers in states that were critical to defending and building our Democratic majority.

We went to Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Georgia, New Hampshire, and Colorado, and as a result, our Senate candidates won in our best midterm performance during a Democratic administration since FDR, over 80 years. We actually gained a Senate seat in a midterm election where many pundits thought we would lose.

I also traveled to Ohio, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, and though Democrats came up just short there in 2022, these states are critical to both the Senate majority and the White House.

I’m hoping that if we can reach our May fundraising goal before our deadline at midnight tonight, we can begin putting the finishing touches on our campaign plan to defend the Senate and defeat Trump in the critical coming months.
