AIR FORCE SWEARING-IN CEREMONY

The Republican Caucus was honored to attend the Air Force swearing-in ceremony for cadets from across the island. This event marked the moment when these dedicated individuals took their Oath of Office, committing themselves to serve and protect. As these cadets prepare for basic training, the Representatives extend their heartfelt wishes, urging them to stay focused and remember the mission and purpose behind their efforts.
45TH HAWAII PRAYER BREAKFAST

The 45th Hawaii Prayer Breakfast was an opportunity for the Republican Caucus to join community members, fellow legislators, and leaders in a time of prayer and reflection. This event allowed everyone to come together with a sense of unity and shared purpose. Prayers were offered for guidance and blessings over Hawaii, its residents, and the state legislature.
PACIFIC RIM CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY GRADUATION
Representative Pierick recently attended his alma mater, Pacific Rim Christian University graduation ceremony. Pierick sends his congratulations to all the students who graduated; they have all done a great job.
MILILANI HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION

Recently, Representative Matsumoto attended her alma mater Mililani High School's graduation. Reflecting on her graduation in 2005, she felt a deep sense of nostalgia and pride. Extending her heartfelt wishes for success and a future filled with aloha and boundless opportunities to the Class of 2024. "Go Trojans!".
CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY
Representative Pierick attended the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Change of Command Ceremony with the Secretary of Defense. During the ceremony, Representative Pierick reconnected with the Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman, General Brown.
HANALANI SCHOOLS' 6TH GRADE GRADUATION
Hanalani Schools' held their 6th Grade Graduation and Representative Matsumoto had the honor of presenting certificates to students. She held back tears as she listened to their heartfelt testimonies, heard them sing praise and worship songs, and saw them giving glory to God for reaching this milestone in their lives. It was truly an inspirational evening! Congratulations, Hanalani 6th grade class!
INTERNATIONAL WORKERS DAY
There was an International Workers Rally in Waikiki. Mahalo to the Ala Moana Hotel workers along with hundreds of other working-class citizens turned out to commemorate this event. Councilman Tulba, Representative Chun, Senator Rhoades, Governor Green, and Representative Alcos showed in support of the "One Job Is Enough" movement.
MILILANI WAENA ELEMENTARY SONGFEST 2024
Representative Matsumoto was so excited to attend Mililani Waena Elementary's 2024 Songfest. It was truly amazing to see these students sing and dance. The students' impressive performance skills perfectly matched this year's theme, "Keep Growing, Keep Glowing." Attending this special event, which had not been held since 2017, was a privilege. It was also a wonderful opportunity for her to reconnect with her second-grade teacher.
In response to the devastating fire in Lahaina, Maui in August 2023, members of the Hawaii State House Republican Caucus traveled to the affected community. During their visit, they immersed themselves in the aftermath, gaining insights into the resilience and determination among the locals. By engaging directly with survivors of the Lahaina Wildfire, they asked pressing questions about the adequacy of government response, the effectiveness of communication efforts, and the development of a plan for the future.
