We’re running out of time to reach our $10,000 May fundraising goal. So here are 3 reasons why we’re urgently asking for your support:

1. The Supreme Court just dealt a major blow to fair elections by greenlighting a racial gerrymander in South Carolina – proving that our work is still more important than ever.

2. We need to be prepared to mobilize our grassroots network to ensure the rest of our 2024 programming can continue going strong.

3. There will always be anti-democratic forces attempting to roll back the progress we’ve made — just look at the recent attempt to undo a new Voting Rights Act-compliant map in Louisiana — and we have to fight back. 

While we have a LOT of ground to make up between now and midnight if we’re going to reach our goal, if we’re able to reach it — or even surpass it — we’ll be able to fully invest in organizing for fair maps.

But if we don’t, we might have to face hard choices.
