Yesterday we witnessed history and another dark moment for our country. Like many, I have continued to hope for a breaking point and a return to sanity for the Republican Party.
But since the news broke, the former President’s supporters and enablers in Congress have rallied behind him with more fervor than we have ever seen before.
Within minutes, the Republican’s online fundraising platform CRASHED due to an influx of donations to his campaign and in support of efforts to give him majorities in the House and Senate.
This is what we’re up against right now, folks.
Today’s Republican Party – and the former President’s apologists in it – continue to stand by someone who thinks our laws don’t apply to him. We should all be terrified about what that could mean if they win this November.
It’s never been more urgent that Democrats take back the House. And hold the Senate and the White House.
