I don’t have to tell you that families of faith are under attack in the United States — it’s all over the news.
And that battle is intensifying.
President Biden’s new Title IX rule will officially redefine “sex” to include “gender identity,” making every public school deny the biological reality that God created humans male and female, allow boys who identify as girls into girls’ private spaces and onto their sports teams, and force teachers and fellow students to call gender-confused children by their alternate names and pronouns.
It’s the next step in the progressive left’s radical agenda — and it’s robbing students, parents and teachers of their religious liberty and girls of equal opportunity… and of their privacy.
Now, more than ever, we need principled leaders advocating for the biblical values we hold dear and taking a stand against harmful policies – both in our state and federal governments and in the thousands of local school boards that play an instrumental role in the education of our children.
John, thanks be to God, several years ago, our leadership team at Family Policy Alliance Foundation saw the direction our nation was heading and felt called to start two training programs — The Statesmen Academy(R) and the School Board Academy™.
Through these two powerful programs, we’ve identified and trained hundreds of conservative legislators and school board members across the nation.
Our goal has been simple: focus our resources where they will do the most long-term good—training leaders who hold the right values and have the potential for tremendous influence and impact.
And John, I’m excited to tell you that those results have been paying off!
We’re gratified to hear the stories of pro-family policies passed, of woke programs stopped—and of how the Academies are helping our graduates become more effective.
Just the other day, our team heard from a school board member in a mid-Atlantic state who ended a program that was funded and organized by a radical LGBT group. That achievement took courage, a strategic approach (providing a much better alternative), and good information to fend off hostile questions.
The school board member credited the Academy with making this win possible!
And that’s just one example.
Our graduates are making tremendous strides, driving good legislation and moving into positions where they will wield even greater influence—becoming committee chairmen, speakers, and majority and minority leaders. They’re moving up from the state House to the state Senate. Two are now in Congress, and several more are running for Congress in 2024.
John, we would like to send as many conservative-minded school board members and legislators through our training programs as possible.
Several friends of this ministry recognized the critical need for these training programs and have issued a challenge grant that will effectively DOUBLE every dollar you give by May 31st — up to $300,000.
