Summer can often remind us of increasing gas prices as we see the state gas tax increase to 59.6 cents per gallon on July 1. I joined my California Republican colleagues to urge Governor Newsom once again to suspend this tax adding more pain to the pump for California families.

Can you take two seconds to fill out my survey? Hearing from you is important to me so I can fight for you in Congress.

Freedom isn't free. My team joined our CA-40 communities in Mission Viejo, Corona, Tustin, El Toro Memorial Park, and Yorba Linda over Memorial Day weekend to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our nation's values we hold dear, rally with their loved ones, and share their stories so we never forget. We are grateful always.

Are you interested in attending one of our U.S. Service Academies? My team is hosting an information for interested students and their families on Saturday, June 29th from 10 am to 12 pm at the Community Center at the Marketplace in Tustin featuring representatives from U.S. Service Academies to answer any questions you may have.

Always fun having CA-40 families in town. Team Young enjoyed giving Capitol tours to the Wy and Schrom families from Chino Hills.

If you’re coming to DC from CA-40, let us know! We’d love to show you around.

Today, I introduced a bipartisan bill, the Targeting Oppressive Officers to Mitigate Abuse in the Iranian Judiciary (TOOMAJ) Act to uplift the Iranian people peacefully protesting the Iran’s human rights abuses, unjust crackdowns, and arrests and executions without due process.

I am proud to lead this bipartisan, commonsense bill to hold the Iran regime accountable and will fight to get this through the finish line.

Great Asian American Pacific Heritage Month FOX 11 story on Col. Young Oak Kim.

He was a dedicated military hero, from helping liberate Rome from Nazi control during WWII to commanding a U.S. Army battalion during the Korean War, and his service only continued after his time in the military.

I feel so blessed to have called him a friend and mentor. He told me to honor our shared name, country and duty to public service.

Last year, I introduced a bipartisan bill with fellow Korean American representatives to award Col. Young Oak Kim the Congressional Gold Medal.

Delivering for CA-40 is my top priority.

In Congress, I secured resources through the FY24 appropriations packages for vital projects in CA-40 that protect public health, support law enforcement, and keep our communities safe.
