Our momentum this year has been undeniable.
In January, our campaign was announced in the first round of the DCCC’s Red to Blue seats — meaning we are one of congressional Democrats' top targets to flip.
In March, we hit our fundraising goal of $1.2 million. That’s almost twice as much as my Republican opponent and the record for any Arizona House candidate in Q1 of an election year.
In April, Sabato's Crystal Ball upgraded this race from “leans Republican" to “toss-up,” following several outlets that have admitted they should’ve been taking our race seriously sooner.
To top it off, our campaign has been endorsed by major organizations like Planned Parenthood, the Human Rights Campaign, the Sierra Club, Arizona AFL-CIO, and Moms Demand Action.
Our people-powered campaign is stronger than ever — and I’m so proud of what we have built.
We’ve shown Republicans that we’re a real threat. But now, they’re fighting back.
We’ll need your help to take them on. Can you chip in before our fundraising deadline at midnight? Every dollar counts.
This month, we received two pieces of tough news.
First, Mike Johnson’s PAC reserved almost $6 million in ads in our district. That’s an eye-popping number — and I won’t lie — one that will be challenging to compete with. We were outspent 6:1 by Republican dark money in 2022, and it looks like they’re trying to do it again.
Then, Donald Trump endorsed my opponent, Juan Ciscomani. Ciscomani has been a faithful MAGA zealot in Congress, torpedoing the bipartisan border bill and attacking reproductive rights to make Trump happy. And we know he’ll continue to choose Trump over his constituents.
Republicans know they need to protect Ciscomani’s seat to protect their House majority and push forward the MAGA agenda. That’s why they’re directing so much attention and money towards our district.
Hitting our May fundraising goal is a non-negotiable. John, we need your support more than ever. Will you donate before our deadline tonight?
