LGBTQ+ Stories You Should Know About

Victory in Georgia, Kentucky and Oregon!

It’s official: both Lauren Ashley Simmons and Molly Cook are headed to the November elections in Texas!

Lauren has finally defeated incumbent candidate Rep. Shawn Thierry by a resounding 63%-35%. Lauren originally announced her intention to run against Thierry after a series of anti-LGBTQ votes. During the primary, things got ugly when Thierry referred to gender-affirming care as “Black genocide”, a term that clearly alienated the community, and referred to Lauren’s endorsers from the Texas House as “the gay ones”.
