Office of Gov. Jim Justice to present findings from investigation regarding handling of child fatality in Boone County

WHO: Governor Justice’s Chief of Staff Brian Abraham, West Virginia State Police Chief of Staff Maj. James Mitchell, West Virginia Department of Human Services Secretary Dr. Cynthia Persily, West Virginia State Superintendent of Schools Michele Blatt.
WHAT: The Office of Governor Jim Justice will present its findings from an investigation into how West Virginia State Police and the West Virginia Department of Human Services, formerly a part of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, handled a case involving a child fatality in Boone County.
WHEN: Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
WHERE: Governor's Reception Room, West Wing, State Capitol.
