Let’s start here: My fundraising team has informed me that our campaign is short of where we need to be less than 12 hours out from our deadline. That’s not great.

But what is great is the response to messages like this one. Your donations allow us to respond to attacks from billionaire-backed super PACs with people power.

Do you think you could split a donation of any amount between my reelection campaign and Tim Kaine right now? Even a donation of $3 would make a big difference in getting us back on track.

My opponent doesn’t have this problem. He’s got all the outside money he needs to distort my record and attack my character.

But that's not me.

I decided a long time ago that I would run this campaign the right way — by relying on grassroots supporters giving whatever they can to help us win.
