Calling all volunteers!!!

The Trump verdict has shaken our nation. This miscarriage of justice from the sham New York City trial is nothing more than an abuse of power to achieve a political objective. As the case goes to appeal, we must double our efforts to increase voter registration and Election Day turnout to ensure a landslide victory in November, that is “too big to rig.”

I understand that you are focused on the busy demands of life, whether trying to make a living, pay the bills, make ends meet, or raise a family. You have work obligations, career demands, charitable and community functions, children’s events and activities, and aging parents who need your help.

But our nation is in serious trouble, elections matter, and politics impacts every area of our lives.

We MUST start work now to engage voters in a way that we never have before. This means we are going to need your volunteer help to organize information tents at your local community event, set up voter registration drives in your neighborhood, put up signs, knock doors, make phone calls and send personal notes.

Sign waving on the side of the road isn’t going to get the job done. Talking to voters and engaging them will. Most importantly, we need people trained as citizen election observers for voting day, and we need you to sign up with your local registrar’s office to become an officer of the election.

We are all angry about the Trump verdict, and we need to direct that anger into action to help win the June 18 primary. We must then do whatever it takes to ensure we win on November 5 to save the country. Please consider what you can do to help!

Our team has already engaged 300 volunteers in this year’s election, but to win in November we will need to double or even triple that number. The 5th District of Virginia can and should be an example to the entire Commonwealth of Virginia, and even the nation, of what focused patriots can do when we are organized and working for a common cause.

Here is what is needed now for our June 18 Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts:

1. Election Day workers

2. Phone Bankers

3. Door knockers

4. Saturday June 8 and June 15 poll workers at your local registrar’s office

Freedom isn’t free. There is a shared sacrifice required of everyone to ensure the future of our nation. I know that with your help we will win on June 18, and move on to victory for America in November.
