We’re so excited to be welcoming Minnesota Democrats from across the state to Duluth this weekend for the annual DFL Convention to organize and strategize for the upcoming elections. And it couldn’t have come at a better time!
Yesterday’s felony conviction of Donald Trump is a serious turning point – not just for the stakes of this election – but for the future of our country. While we’re all feeling a mix of emotions regarding the verdict, one thing remains clear: Trump and MAGA believe that Minnesota is in play this year.
That’s why we’re so excited to be hosting the DFL convention – so we can do the work to ensure Minnesota delivers its delegates for President Biden *and* that we finally flip the 8th and send Pete Stauber packing.
Yesterday, Stauber called the trial “rigged” and said it was a “sham conviction.” His denial of the facts and blind loyalty is deeply concerning – and voters in our community need to know that Pete Stauber remains as loyal as ever to a convicted criminal.
