Team, I have to share some bad news. Earlier this week, Donald Trump officially endorsed Hung Cao for the GOP nomination to run against me this fall.

Look, we don’t know who the Republican nominee will be yet, but we need to take this threat seriously. I view this as the biggest political earthquake our race has seen yet.
Cao is a MAGA extremist who has openly targeted the Affordable Care Act, mocked small-town communities in Virginia as “podunk,” and even attended a conservative political conference where Nazis openly mingled — and that’s all in the last few months!
Trump’s decision is yet more proof that he plans on investing heavily on flipping Virginia red. But I believe Virginians will reject his divisive brand of politics this November.
Here’s why: Virginians are stand-up people, not tear-down people.
But with national GOP mega-donors funneling money into our Commonwealth, we need to fight back.
