We have good news and some not-so-good news.
The good news is that this week, in the City of Lockhart, we completed our petition campaign and turned in signatures for a November ballot proposition on marijuana reform. This ballot measure is a great opportunity to change the politics of an entire county. Two county commissioner seats could flip in November, and our ballot measure will play a key role in improving voter turnout.
The not-so-good news is that we have not reached our monthly goal for fundraising. To keep our dozens of organizers working across the state, we need a few more supporters to chip in to get us back on track.
