We are 157 days away from election day, and our race is starting to heat up, John.
We are printing signs, knocking on doors, hosting house parties, and hearing directly from our community, and do you know what I hear the most?
Worry.
Folks are worried about our local schools, funding for Area Education Associations, whether they will be able to afford food next month, and what liberties far-right extremists will come after next. Our communities are under pressure and worried, and for a good reason: we don't have a strong enough voice in our state.
Kim Reynolds and her extremist friends are running rough-shod over our state and implementing a national Republican Agenda that isn't right for Iowans. If we are going to put an end to this, we need more Democrats in the state legislature. And this year is our opportunity to make it happen.
Growing a grassroots movement that can protect hard-working families, strengthen our schools, and fight for our rights, is hard work. It takes time, money, and a lot of community support. Before the end of May, can you chip in $17 today to help us grow our grassroots movement and put an end to the far-right agenda in our state?
Stand Tall for All,
J.D.
