Nearly one-third of our elected members of Congress had or continue to have a hand in discounting the 2020 election and our democracy–whether supporting Trump’s bid to overturn the results or continuing to cast doubt on our election process.

Now, as we head into the 2024 elections, we understand that these extremists are setting themselves up to claim, yet again, “stolen election” to excuse their losing. But one could bet if they win, these elections will be true and fair.

We will not stand for the continuation of lies upon lies and the attacks on our democracy. Republicans must accept the 2024 election results.

Following the 2020 election, many Republicans, led by Donald Trump, refused to accept the fair and democratic results. Trump tried to overturn the election, and on January 6, 2021, his supporters stormed the Capitol to stop the winner from being certified and thus taking office two weeks later.

Trump and Republican members of Congress are complicit in inciting the attack on the U.S. Capitol, as well as the aftermath of questioning our democratic process by anyone who buys into the Big Lie and conspiracy theories designed to install Trump as a despot.

Although President Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election results failed, and he now faces both federal and state charges for those efforts, he and his GOP followers are already refusing to commit to accepting the 2024 election results.

ENOUGH! We are demanding that Republicans commit to accepting the 2024 election results, whatever the outcome.

Enough is enough. Sign this petition to demand Republicans commit to accepting the 2024 elections results.
