Dear friend,

This is a difficult email to write: Yesterday on Easter Sunday, tornadoes tore through Mississippi, destroying countless homes and tragically killing at least eleven people.

My heart goes out to every single Mississippian impacted by this catastrophe. Not only is this natural disaster hurtful in and of itself, but for it to happen when many families are already sick or financially struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic makes matters even worse.

This is a time for us to come together and lend a helping hand, so I’m asking:

Will you help fellow Americans in their time of need by making a charitable contribution to the American Red Cross today? [[link removed]]

The American Red Cross serves people all across the country and Mississippi, providing aid in times of disaster. The Red Cross was already in need of support as they work to run blood drives and provide resources to those impacted by COVID-19 -- and after this tornado, they need all the help they can get to help Mississippians rebuild.

Please consider donating $10 or whatever you can afford to the American Red Cross to help those suffering in the aftermath of this disaster. [[link removed]]

Thank you,

Mike
