John,
Almost eight years after the 2016 election, Donald Trump finally faced
some accountability yesterday:
[ [link removed] ]A headline from Axios detailing what comes next for former president
Donald Trump after a New York jury convicted him of all 34 counts related
to his illegal hush money payment to a former adult filmstar.
Trump was found guilty of all 34 felony charges related to his
falsification of business records — the first and only time to date a
president has been successfully charged, let alone convicted for their
crimes.
Trying a former president was always going to be a massive undertaking but
despite Trump’s threats of violence and his legal team’s countless efforts
to have this case thrown out, the 12 jurors made a unanimous decision that
no one — not even former presidents — are above the law.
Convicted felons don't belong anywhere near the Oval
Office, John.
And if we’re going to stop Trump once and for all, we need to do
everything we can to reelect President Biden this November. [ [link removed] ]Can you
make an urgent contribution to support President Biden's campaign and deny
Trump, now a convicted felon, a second term?
