Nothing can compare to what we witnessed yesterday, and yet, we have endured many attempts to stack the deck against us. Cronies of Gavin Newsom have
filed a dozen frivolous legal complaints against me (all of which have been rejected). After we won a restraining order against Newsom for his COVID tyranny, he had the judge who ruled against him removed from the case. Then, Newsom escaped being recalled by totally changing the rules for the recall in the middle of the election. As we speak, Newsom is suing to cancel a statewide vote on an initiative that would stop new taxes.
The California Supermajority resorted to every abuse imaginable: removing us from committees, moving our office, hijacking our bills, concealing documents, skewing ballot language. Similarly,
Biden has targeted parents for attending school board meetings, targeted Americans for their religious beliefs, and conspired with social media companies on a vast censorship operation.
Yet we have kept fighting, and against all odds, we have kept winning. And that is for one reason: because we have fought back together. It’s because of your loyal support. And today, I really need your support in a major way.
Two years ago, we tipped the balance of power in the entire country, by winning the Majority-making seat in the House. We ended the Pelosi Speakership by outperforming all expectations; we had a message that resonated, and had the resources to get that message to voters.
We rose above a sea of smear
and slander through patriotism and preservation, through a shared belief that our state and country are worth fighting for.
The harsh reality is this: what we overcame before is nothing compared to what we will face in the next few months. After all, our movement has played a leading role in derailing Newsom’s presidential fantasies. We’ve made life exceedingly difficult for the Biden Administration, standing in the way of their plans to make our country even more like Newsom’s California.
Now, they are out for revenge. That’s why
they have come after us, again and again. That’s why they have named our district a top target in this election. That’s why they have sent Newsom’s own “Deputy Secretary” to run against us. They will stop at nothing to defeat us, to expel our movement from the nation’s capital.
I am preparing for battle, but it’s a battle we can only win if we are all fighting together. Our opponent is now a full-time candidate with all the time in the world to milk the Biden, Newsom, Schiff, and Swalwell networks. She is
bringing in huge amounts of money, and every dollar is a weapon that will be aimed against us.
Your support is the armor I need to fight back. While this will be our hardest battle yet, I am hopeful that we can defy the odds again – that it will become our most important victory yet.
