Across the country, people of color are dying of the novel coronavirus at
astonishing and disproportionate rates. It’s further proof that poverty, access
to health care, medical discrimination, and race are intertwined in America.
We demand that this stark racial disparity be addressed, now. We need more
data about the race of those who are hospitalized and dying of coronavirus and
how the White House plans to address this heightened tragedy. Add your name

In Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, African Americans account for 70 percent of
those killed by this virus, yet are only 26 percent of the population.
As Dr. Fauci said, this crisis is "shining a bright light on how unacceptable"
the disparity is between the health and wellbeings of black and brown Americans
and their white counterparts.
We demand that this disparity be addressed and that public health officials
release data to aid in our fight against coronavirus in our most vulnerable
communities. If you’re with us, sign here.
