The rhetoric these elected officials are using is beyond dangerous. Spreading lies and conspiracies is what led to the January 6th attack on the capitol. Yet, MAGA extremists continue to lie about Democrats and instill doubts about our justice system in the eyes of the American public.

Are these the leaders we want running the People’s House? Politicians who fuel lies about our justice system and question its legitimacy? Politicians who will discredit a ruling about Trump but turn a blind eye to the MAGA politicians in robes they have put on the Supreme Court?

That’s what's at stake this November: Power in the hands of House Republicans, who mock the People’s House and transform the governing body for the people to serve Trump and his allies—or Democratic leaders who will put the people and their rights first.

So we need to do everything we can to take back the House and remove extremists like Mike Johnson from power, and it starts right here in Virginia.
