Hello, I'm Sophia, the Field Coordinator for Schools & Communities First.

As an organizer, I have devoted my life to making sure everyone is able to participate in our democratic process, which is why I am super concerned that the coronavirus pandemic may end up disenfranchising millions of Americans if we don't make necessary reforms now to keep voters safe.

Most importantly, both here in California and across the country, we need a universal vote by mail option for every single voter. Voting -- whether in-person or by mail -- should be easy, accessible, and equitable!.

Will you sign this petition calling for universal, accessible, and equitable voting by mail and in-person for all voters?

It won't be easy to turn out the diverse coalition of Californians we need to win. We're going to need every vote in November. If we don't have equitable access to vote by mail or in person, Californians from all walks of life could be disproportionately disenfranchised. Our future is at stake!

TAKE ACTION -- Call for an equitable and universal vote by mail option for all voters >>

Let's protect our communities, our democracy, and win!

The Schools & Communities First initiative reclaims $12 billion every year for California’s schools and local communities by closing commercial property tax loopholes benefiting a fraction of corporations and wealthy investors. The initiative benefits residents and small businesses by exempting homeowners and renters from any changes while implementing new tax relief for small businesses.

Paid for by Schools and Communities First - Sponsored by a Coalition of Social Justice Organizations Representing Families and Students. Committee major funding from:

California Teachers Association

SEIU California State Council

Chan Zuckerberg Advocacy
