John — The first website I pulled up this morning (and, really, every morning) was ActBlue. We’re only hours away from Josh’s May fundraising deadline, so I need to stay on top of every single donation and every last cent our campaign earns. Right now, we’re still $33,035 short of our goal. I’ll be frank: We’ve had a slower couple of months on the fundraising front than I’d have liked. And donations slowing down? Well, as Josh’s Finance Director, that’s a problem that falls on me to solve.
Earlier this week, a new poll dropped, showing that Josh and his radical opponent Mark Robinson are still deadlocked. Our race WILL be decided by a small portion of voters. We’re aggressively targeting undecided voters and mobilizing our supporters, but all of that takes resources. Thanks so much, Anna Huck Finance Director
