We have had a tough and scary time. As COVID shutdowns have changed the way our world works, our stress levels have escalated – mine included – as we’ve worried about the health and safety of everyone we love. 

But for all of us at EDF, this community of committed environmental advocates has been a real source of strength and encouragement.

So this Earth Day, we want to do something fun and give you all a way to escape with your community... In a uniquely EDF (and social distancing-appropriate) way.

If there’s one thing our staff and our supporters have in common, it’s a love of knowledge… And occasionally, an urge to show off our smarts. 

We’re celebrating wisdom, science, and education – and making it easy for you to do the same! Download our guide to hosting your own Virtual Earth Day Trivia Night!

We’ll walk you through it, step-by-step – from what video conferencing platform to use, to what questions to ask (and of course, we’ll give you the answers).

You’ll have 2 tracks to choose from: “Game show contestant style,” where each of your friends works alone – or “Traditional pub quiz trivia” where they’re assigned to random teams.

We’ve got answer sheets for you to copy – and a step-by-step guide to being the host with the most.

There’s no denying it: 2020 has been stressful and exhausting. But it’s also brought us together – with cross-continental family video calls or virtual happy hours becoming our new normal.
