[[link removed]]John xxxxxx, we want you to see this.
The Tories have outspent us in every general election for the last 10 years - we
can't let it happen this year.
It’s no coincidence that the Tories have spent more money than Labour in every
election we've lost to them in the past decade.
Money matters in elections, and we’re worried - the Tories have raised the election spending limit to £34 million - almost double the limit of the last general election.
This is an unprecedented election - and shaping up to be the most expensive in
UK history.
John xxxxxx, we only have five weeks to turn the tide and not
be outspent by the Tories. The only way to make it happen is if our supporters
chip in the funds Labour needs to win.
We aren’t expecting our supporters to give every time we ask but where it makes
sense for you to give, we would welcome it, because every pound takes us closer
to the Labour government we have fought so hard to get, and the change the
country needs.
