John, Last month, I closed out my second legislative session. It was an honor to fight for the future we all deserve, with Maryland poised to lead the way on how to accomplish that. But I couldn’t do it alone. It requires partnership and understanding because together we can accomplish much more than one person can alone. This past legislative session showed just how much progress we can make when we put political games aside, and show how a state government is supposed to work. We made record investments where it matters the most: in education, public safety, child care, and housing. We’re making the investments now so that our children have a chance at a better future. Although the legislative session ended in April, along with the fundraising freeze, we are still playing catch up to ensure we’re where we need to be post-freeze in the second quarter of the year. My team has set an ambitious goal of $10,000 by May 31. With your support right now, we can continue to build on our accomplishments from the last two legislative sessions. Please, make a contribution right now so we can reach our end-of-month goal.
