Kia ora John,

No doubt you saw the Government's Budget yesterday. Nicola Willis had choices, and the choices she made were bad for New Zealand.

You may get a few dollars in tax cuts, but they come at the cost of services that Kiwis rely on. They are choosing $2.9 billion in tax cuts for landlords over funding the cancer drugs they promised they would. They have ended first home grants leaving first home buyers out in the cold. This Government is making the wrong choices.

John, will you donate some of your tax cut to Labour? That way, the tax cuts really can help create a better future for Aotearoa New Zealand - by getting Labour back into government.

If you donate now, we'll also double your impact thanks to our generous matched fund donors.

They'll match your donation, dollar for dollar, so we can build a better future together. Every dollar you donate, we get two dollars. If you donate a week's worth of tax cuts, we get two. If you donate two week's worth of tax cuts, we get four. It's that easy.

When you donate, we can also help you send Nicola Willis a lovely e-card that tells her exactly what you've done with her tax cuts. You don't have to, but you might find it cathartic!

John, Labour is proud to be a people-powered party, with New Zealanders from all walks of life giving what they can in support of a progressive future. This matched fund offer is only available for a short time, so to double your impact please consider donating today.

What do you say, John, can you show Nicola Willis what people power really looks like? Tell her you've doubled your impact by giving some of your tax cut to Labour.

Ngā mihi maioha,

Rob Salmond, Labour
