We cannot understate the extraordinary and historic nature of this trial. Never in our nation’s history has a former President been convicted of a felony crime. Donald Trump's grievance campaign is a dangerous threat to our country with his pledge to be a dictator 'on day one', the huge handouts he wants to give to the wealthy, the freedoms he wants to strip away, and his calls for a "termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the US Constitution.”
