It’s official: twelve jurors found Donald Trump guilty of falsifying his company's business records to keep information from voters before the 2016 election.
History might have looked very different had voters known the extent of Trump’s behavior before the ballots were cast eight years ago. But we can’t change the past. And we can’t escape the fact that Trump is still running for president.
What we can do is help defeat Trump at the ballot box by making sure that everyone knows what he’s been convicted of, why it matters, and how he is still a threat to our democracy.
Send a letter to the editor in Washington and spread the truth of Trump’s verdict to your community.

Trump was found guilty of all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up election crimes. In the final weeks of the 2016 election, he covered up his affair with Stormy Daniels to keep voters in the dark and improve his chances of winning the election.
This case is a clear example of Trump’s pattern of interfering with our elections and doing anything to gain or stay in power—from hiding the truth from voters in order to win an election to trying to steal an election he already lost. He’s threatening to be a dictator on day one and even going so far as to say he could serve for a third term.
Despite his guilty verdict, Donald Trump is still very much running for president—and he could win. There’s too much at stake to let that happen. Send a letter to the editor of your local paper in Washington to make sure everyone knows the threat Trump still poses to our democracy and our fundamental freedoms.
