Tuesday’s Texas runoffs decided the question of who will run against Lizzie.  And, you might be surprised to hear that the Republican candidate is someone who calls Lizzie “radical” and cites Chip Roy as her political hero.

Election Day is less than six months away and we’re building a strong foundation for Lizzie’s re-election.  We know Lizzie is the right person for this job, and we know we can win this—after all, we’ve done it before!  In 2018, Lizzie defeated seven candidates to win the Democratic primary and beat a nine-term Republican incumbent to become the first Democrat in more than 50 years, and the first woman ever, to represent #TX07!  And we helped Lizzie bring home victories again in 2020 and 2022.

With so much on the line this election, we must do everything we can in these next six months to hold on to this seat—including reaching our goals. 

Our end-of-month deadline is tomorrow, and we’re encouraged by and grateful for the strong support and generous contributions we’ve received this month.  We’re making great progress toward our goal, and it’s a testament to you and the #TeamLizzie coalition we’ve built over the past three elections.
