Tomorrow, campaigns like mine will be hustling to close fundraising gaps for our end-of-month deadlines.

This is a big deal for my Senate campaign.

I’d be the first woman and person of color elected to the Senate from Delaware. Pundits understand that our race is historic and they’ll use our fundraising numbers as a bellwether of our viability. With experts predicting a tough cycle for Democrats, it’s imperative that we show strength at every single deadline. This is especially true for a historic campaign like ours.

Here’s why I’m reaching out: we pulled the numbers and to be blunt, we are a bit behind. We can close the gap, but I do need to ask you to chip in to my campaign before this hole gets worse. Can I count on your help?
