I just saw a headline that made my stomach drop. Right now, the FiveThirtyEight polling average shows Donald Trump ahead in Wisconsin, one of just a few “tipping point” states that will decide the presidential election in November.
I know something about close elections in Wisconsin: Just two years ago, I fell just 1 point short of defeating MAGA Senator Ron Johnson in a close race. So, take it from me: I’m worried about November.
In just a few weeks, MAGA Republicans will meet in my home city of Milwaukee to nominate Donald Trump once again.
I know how important it is to defeat Trump and his MAGA allies, which is why I’m asking you to help People For the American Way execute our digital organizing and targeted messaging campaign through Election Day and beyond to stop their extremist movement from returning to power.

Campaigns like these don’t succeed overnight – winning in November and beyond will require months of hard work and careful planning, which is why your support right now is so crucial.
In the next few weeks, People For the American Way will need to make tough choices about how we’ll deploy resources for the rest of the year. How big we can go to defeat MAGA extremists and defend our democracy and our freedoms will depend on support from our members.
