America First Legal Investigates Biden’s Department of Labor Regarding Radical “Menstruators” Blog Post

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, America First Legal (AFL) launched a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) investigation into the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) regarding the rollout of a blog post entitled “5 Ways Employers Can Make Workplaces More Menstruation-Friendly.”

The blog post, written by Eleanor Delamater and Mathilde Roux — Policy Analysts in DOL’s Women’s Bureau fails to mention the word “woman” once despite explaining at length “the stereotypes and stigmas that have made menstruation a taboo topic in the workplace.” Instead of mentioning “women,” DOL ludicrously uses the word “menstruators.”  

This is just another example of the Biden Administration’s attempt to erase women and indoctrinate the American people with a radical transgender ideology that tells the lie that men can menstruate.  

Instead of standing up for women, the Biden Administration has shifted the focus of the Women’s Bureau to highlight its radical and divisive view of gender — completely undermining the Women’s Bureau’s 100+ year history of supporting the labor rights of women, not “menstruators.” 

The Women’s Bureau in DOL is led by Biden devotees, as uncovered by AFL’s Woke Wagon database, which highlights the work histories of Biden Administration political appointees. Its Director, Wendy Chun-Hoon volunteered for the Biden-Harris Policy Committee in 2020. 

Director Chun-Hoon also worked at the Soros-founded Open Society Foundations from 2009 to 2010 overseeing $250 million in grantmaking and establishing partnerships, including with the Obama-Biden White House, to match the foundation’s investments with Federal stimulus dollars. 

The Women’s Bureau’s Chief of Staff, Nikkilia Lu, worked for the Biden campaign as Deputy State Director for Pennsylvania.

Jesse Lawder, who has the critical role of Deputy Assistant-Secretary in the Office of Public Affairs, joined Biden’s DOL from Planned Parenthood, where he delivered “Results,” such as improving “favorable coverage” and increased “appointment bookings” for abortion providers.

And the Women’s Bureau has a “diversity professional” as its Deputy Director.  

The previous Biden-appointed Deputy Director, Analilia Mejia, was a longtime political operative for Bernie Sanders and labor unions across America. 

Senior Advisor Sarah Jane Glynn joined DOL from the Obama-aligned Center for American Progress, majored in “Women’s Studies (Concentration in LGBT Studies)” in college, and authored pieces such as “The Case Against Marriage Fundamentalism: Embracing Family Justice for All” and “White Men Are Not in Decline.” 

Before long, Americans can expect these radical leftists running the DOL to rename the “Women’s Bureau” the “Menstruator’s Bureau.” 

Earlier this month, AFL and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed an amended complaint and a motion for a preliminary injunction against President Biden’s Secretary of Education, Miguel Cardona, and others to stop the Biden Administration’s radical Title IX rules from wreaking havoc on women, children, and schools across the country. 

America First Legal will never adopt the radical language of the leftist Biden Administration and will continue to fight for the truth.
