It’s Mohona, campaign manager for Sharice Davids. We’re a little over 24 hours away from our monthly fundraising deadline, and we’re $2,412 away from our goal.

Here are the options facing a campaign manager in that situation:

Option A: Reduce our digital ad budget this October, meaning we reach fewer swing voters when it counts.

Option B: Reduce our organizing budget, which means we don’t have the manpower to turn out quite as many Democratic voters this fall.

Option C: Send our most dedicated supporters an annoying email asking them to donate, and hope it’s enough to close the gap.

I chose Option C.
