John, we are all so busy, and I wouldn’t email if it wasn’t important.
Tomorrow is our end-of-month fundraising deadline, but I was just informed that we’re falling short of our monthly fundraising goal.
I know that November seems like a long way away, but it’s closer than you think, and here’s the thing: If you know me you know that I believe if we’re not preparing, we’re losing. The reality of campaigns is that it takes two years of fundraising to cover the costs of one competitive House race.
I won’t stop fighting for the things that matter to you: common sense gun safety, reproductive care, paid family leave, and a government that works for everyone.
So please, John: Will you give just $5 right now to help us reach our end-of-month fundraising goal? I’m counting on your support.
Since you chose me as your representative, I’ve been working nonstop to deliver on the issues that you care about. But in this political climate, nothing is promised, so please:
Can I count on you to pitch in $5 or whatever you can to help my team reach its end-of-month goal? Our success depends on the generosity of supporters like you.

Thank you for being a part of this team.
There is work to be done!
Chrissy
