John — It’s Jeremy, Eugene’s campaign manager. I have good news and bad news.
The good news is that over the past few days, our pro-democracy movement has had an influx of support. Folks from all walks of life who share our values have contributed to our grassroots, people-powered campaign and have raised their hand to say their support for Eugene.
It’s folks like Johnnie, a mechanic from Woodbridge, Roman, a Scientist from Ann Arbor, and Margaret, a librarian from High Point, who helped show the power and strength of our pro-democracy movement before our final FEC deadline.
The bad news is that despite the overwhelming support we have received over the past few days, we still came up short of our $250,000 FEC deadline goal.
But just because our deadline has passed, doesn't mean we can't make up that lost ground. We need to do everything we can to hit that goal by the end of May so we can start June strong and have the resources to get out the vote for Eugene in Virginia before the June 18th primary.
You’re an important part of this movement, and we want to keep you updated on our progress. So you can track our goal here in real-time:
So what do you say? Can you help us reach our $250,000 goal?
